About The Role

The successful post holder will support the frontline officers to deliver an effective and efficient housing advice service using sound administrative skills. The successful postholder will be the first point of contact for many of our customers. You will have a careful eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Monitoring and responding to emails through the Housing Help and Housing Help for Professionals Inbox
  • Monitor and gather basic information for the Duty to Refer referrals
  • To support the removal of duplicate applications on the Huume system to ensure data is accurate and up to date
  • Signpost clients onto other agencies if required
  • Assist in specific project work as allocated
  • Support the management team to undertake various administrative duties including arranging meetings, minute taking and arranging the homeless forums.
  • Undertake other generic clerical and secretarial duties which may include word processing, monitoring and managing inboxes, arranging meetings, minute-taking, diary management, handling telephone calls and/or attending to visitors.
  • Support the maintenance of data systems as appropriate by way of data input and/or extracting data to provide requested management and/or financial information.
  • Maintain filing system, both manual and electronic, which may include information relating to the team.
  • Undertake any clerical and administrative support duties specific to the post which may include updating spreadsheets, distributing questionnaires and ensuring pages on the website are up to date.
  • Liaison with other staff and external customers, as a point of contact for the team. Providing signposting and basic housing advice as appropriate and/or referring enquiries to the relevant officer or internal teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring data quality and as such the integrity of management information through the proper use and safekeeping of data and record systems both manual and computerised.
  • Any other lesser or comparable duties as required.
