About the role

CLERK TO THE GOVERNORS

Dorset Reference XS 8.10

Grade 5, SCP 5-6 - £12.85-£13.05 per hour

5 hours per week – term time only

Required for September 2025 a Clerk to the Governing Body who will provide administrative and clerking support to the Governing Body of Ferndown Upper School.  The postholder will be responsible for drafting agendas, organisation of meetings, recording minutes and maintaining accurate records. The Clerk is also responsible for the recruitment and induction of new Governors.

There are 12 set meetings a year each starting at 6pm until approximately 8pm with other occasional meetings that may require attendance.

The successful candidate will be organised with excellent communication skills and proficient in Microsoft applications.

Ferndown Upper School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates.
