About the successful candidate

You’ll be working in a team of highly skilled colleagues who all want the best in site safety and security for the school.

The role is to ensure that the pupils, staff and visitors have a safe and secure site; experience of working in a busy education environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

  • relevant experience of working in a similar role
  • have the ability to work independently and use own initiative when required
  • be able to display effective communication skills with both children and adults
  • be eager to work collaboratively in a wider team, be adaptable and open to new ideas and practices
  • ensure safe working practises and safeguarding practises are upheld
  • able to deal with change and unpredictability positively with a “can do” attitude
  • educated to GCSE level in English and Maths
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Rigorous checks will be made of the successful applicant's background credentials, including an enhanced DBS check.
