About the role

 We are seeking a dedicated Young Persons Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our established team. You will work alongside other generic and specialist tenancy sustainment officers.
 
This role involves working across the Dorset Council conurbation to help young people sustain and find tenancies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young individuals and ensuring they have access to stable housing.
 
You will need to be compassionate, proactive and resilient whilst working with our most vulnerable young people at risk of homelessness or homeless. Your efforts will directly contribute to their ability to live independently and thrive.

Further Information

This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed. 
 
This post involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults and/or having access to significant information about them. It will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. See our policy on the employment of ex-offenders. 
 
Hybrid working opportunities with access to several satellite offices across Dorset.
 
This position is fixed term for 2 years.
