About the role

Administrator / EHCP Co-ordinator - Term Time Only (Full Time)
The Role

Are you a highly organised administrator with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of SEND processes? Do you have a calm, professional manner and a passion for supporting young people with complex needs? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for an Administrator / EHCP Co-ordinator to join our central administration team and play a vital role in ensuring that all Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant. Working closely with school leaders, teachers, families, and the Local Authority, you will coordinate the EHCP annual review cycle and keep all SEN documentation updated and well-organised.

This is a busy, varied role requiring someone who can manage deadlines, communicate clearly and compassionately with a range of stakeholders, and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. You will also contribute to general administration and reception support during quieter EHCP periods, helping with the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

We are looking for someone who:

·      Has substantial, recent administration experience in a school or

similar setting.

·      Understands SEN practices and the statutory EHCP process.

·      Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Can confidently use Microsoft Office (including Teams, Excel and

SharePoint).

·      Is highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage conflicting

priorities.

·      Works well independently and as part of a supportive team.

·      Has experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

Experience of school information systems and coordinating EHCPs is highly desirable. However, if you are a quick learner with the right attitude and transferable skills, we would still like to hear from you.

This is a term time only post, with two additional weeks to work during the Summer break before the start of the new school year.

Actual pro-rated salary range is £25,561 to £27,727 (FTE £27,711–£30,060) for working 37 hours and 41 weeks (39 weeks in line with School terms plus 2 weeks, usually in 1 week in the Summer, 2 days Oct half term, 2 days Feb half term, 1-day easter – some flexibility).

Full time hours: 08:30–16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30–16:00 Friday (flexibility around those hours can be discussed).

Please review the job description and person specification for further information about the role. If you are passionate about supporting young people with SEND and want to make a real difference in a rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

This post involves working with children or vulnerable adults and/or having access to significant information about them and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Closing date for applications: Sunday 8th June 2025

Interviews will be held: Wednesday 18th June (we may close the post earlier and hold interviews sooner if sufficient suitable applications are received).

We are committed to safeguarding and expect everyone who works in our school (and visitors to our school) to share this commitment. We take all safeguarding and welfare concerns seriously and encourage our pupils to talk to us about any worries they may have. We will always act in the best interests of the child. The successful applicant must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and an enhanced DBS.
