We have an exciting opportunity within our Cleaning Department for a Cleaning Manager. The appointee will play a key role in ensuring our school maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organisation during the school day whilst adhering to school health and safety guidelines.
22.5 hours per week
Monday-Friday
3pm to 7.30pm five days per week*
*We will consider alternative weekday work patterns and hours.
School term-times, Trust Training Days, INSET days plus the last two weeks of the summer holidays
Grade 7
Salary range: £26,824 to £29,540 (FTE)
£15,083 to £16,610 (pro rata)

Essential:
- Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervision role, preferably within an educational or institutional setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders (students, staff, parents, and visitors)
- Proven experience of team management with a focus on team building and providing a supportive management framework
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and maintenance processes
- A positive and proactive attitude with a customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Level 3 or higher qualifications
- Evidence of recent and relevant training
- Training in facilities management, cleaning management, hospitality field
