About the role

About the Post

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Behaviour Intervention and Inclusion Manager to join our team at The Grange School. This is a key leadership role focused on reducing suspensions and supporting students at risk of repeated exclusions through the development of inclusive, restorative behaviour systems. You will lead the implementation of an internal alternative provision programme, line manage the Behaviour Manager, and work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, and external agencies to embed a culture of high expectations and inclusive practice. A strong understanding of how SEND can impact behaviour is essential, as is the ability to deliver staff CPD and support classroom behaviour strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and help shape a supportive, aspirational school environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Learn and Behave provision to support student regulation and re-engagement.
  • Design and implement an internal alternative provision pathway for students at risk of exclusion.
  • Line manage the Behaviour Manager and oversee day-to-day behaviour systems.
  • Monitor and analyse behaviour data to inform targeted interventions, especially for vulnerable and SEND students.
  • Deliver CPD and work with teaching staff to embed inclusive behaviour strategies in the classroom.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with external agencies to support students with complex needs.
  • Promote restorative approaches and lead reintegration planning for students returning from suspension.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 A*-C GCSE qualifications (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
  • Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Work Environment

Based primarily at Twynham School, you could have the opportunity to work across both of our sites (including The Grange School), contributing to the cohesive operation of our school community.

What We Can Offer You:

  • The opportunity to work in a forward-thinking and exciting organisation with wonderful young people and exceptional colleagues.
  • High quality continued professional development and opportunities to progress.
  • Automatic membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • The opportunity to work within Twynham Learning; a progressive multi-academy trust.
  • The chance to work in one of the most beautiful areas of the South Coast.

Twynham Learning employee values:

  • Aim high
  • Keep improving
  • Don’t leave anyone behind
  • See the bigger picture
