Contract: 16 - 26 hours per week, 38.4 weeks a year (term time plus 4 inset days)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Technician to join our thriving secondary school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality DT lessons across a range of specialisms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to support both staff and students in a dynamic learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Prepare, set up, and maintain tools, machinery, and materials for practical lessons.
- Ensure classrooms, workshops, and equipment are safe, clean, and well-stocked.
- Support teaching staff and students during practical sessions when required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining records.
- Assist with displays, demonstrations, and project work where appropriate.
