About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a cover supervisor.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or somebody who has held a similar role in a school setting to work alongside our well motivated and hard working children and staff team.

Our school was recently graded Outstanding by Ofsted (Jan 2025) for behaviour and attitudes and personal development and this post provides an excellent opportunity to grow alongside our staff team and to contribute to the wider life of our school.

As a cover supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring pupil progress and wellbeing, and must hold the necessary skills to manage classroom activity.

Actual Salary £19,444 - £21,413 pro-rated actual salary per annum (Grade 7)

This job is Part Time - Term Time Only.  32 hours per week and 38 weeks per year.

It is offered on a Permanent basis.

This is a part time time role working Monday to Friday between 8:15am and 3:15pm each day.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
