Wareham St Mary CE Primary School

Hours: 7.5 hours per week (11:45am to 1:15pm; Monday to Friday)

Term time only, 38 working weeks

Salary: Grade 3, SCP 2 to 4 (£12.65 to £13.05 per hour)

Actual salary: £4,147 to £4,335 per annum, pro rata

We are currently seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our positive and highly skilled team as soon as possible. Midday Assistants are responsible for supervising pupils during the lunch break, and maintaining a clean and hygienic area in which to eat food. As an OPAL school, we value the lunchtime break as an opportunity for pupils to play imaginatively with loose parts. Candidates should have an interest in supporting outdoor play across our whole site including the school field and meadow. They should have some experience with working with children and a willingness to undertake training which will be provided by the school.
