This is an exciting opportunity to join Kingsleigh Primary School as a Teaching Assistant working in our SEND provision, The DEN (Develop, Engage, Nurture). The DEN is a nurturing, play-based learning environment that supports a small group of children with complex learning needs who find mainstream classrooms challenging. The provision offers highly individualised learning opportunities for pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including those with EHCPs or undergoing assessment. Supported by a skilled team and overseen by the Inclusion Lead, The DEN focuses on developing social communication, emotional and sensory regulation, and engagement in learning through structured routines, therapeutic input and carefully tailored activities while children await placement in specialist settings.

Kingsleigh Primary School is an innovative, creative, forward-thinking place to learn and work rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.  We believe in going the extra mile in everything that we do to ensure that our children have the very best start to their education.  We are at the centre of the community we serve and see our role as more than just a school but a place where our children, families and staff can truly thrive. Our energetic and enthusiastic children thrive within a dynamic curriculum that sparks curiosity, nurtures individuality, and promotes a lifelong love of learning.

‘Where everyone can be great, not just good!’
