St Mary's CE Primary School (Bridport) is looking for a Cleaner to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £9,387 per annum per annum (Grade 1)

This job is Part Time for 15 hours per week and working 43 weeks per year.

It is offered on a Temporary basis until 31 August 2026.

Approximate start date : 9 December 2025

Closing date: 28 November 2025

Interview Date: 2 December 2025

We are looking for an enthusiastic energetic person who has an eye for detail and is a conscientious cleaner who takes real pride in their work.

The position may involve the locking and alarming of the school when all the cleaning activities have been completed.

Working hours are 5.00pm to 8.00pm, Monday to Friday, which may be subject to change according to business needs.  The vacancy is term time including Inset Days and also you will be required to do deep cleans during the holidays, your total working weeks will be 43.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
