About the role

Full Time Fixed Term Year 3 and 4 Teacher required for April – This is a fixed term contract for the Summer Term 2026

Symondsbury C of E VA Primary School is a vibrant and welcoming village primary school within a beautiful setting in the Dorset Countryside. We wish to appoint a dedicated, inspirational and creative teacher who will play an active role in the life of the school and who will show dedication to continuing school improvement supporting the School’s Christian ethos.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
