Symondsbury C of E VA Primary School is a vibrant and welcoming village primary school within a beautiful setting in the Dorset Countryside. We are a learning centred, values driven school, where our core purpose is to maximise all learning opportunities to ensure the best outcomes for all of our pupils. We wish to appoint a dedicated, inspirational and creative teacher who will play an active role in the life of the school and who will show dedication to continuing school improvement supporting the School’s Christian ethos.

- Have a proven track record of outstanding teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils and adults working within your team;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism and drive;
- Are knowledgeable, forward thinking and up to date with current education practice;
- Are committed to high expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour;
- Are organised and creative in your approach to children’s learning;
- Are open to learning and have a passion and drive to be the best teacher you could be;
- Have the ability to ‘spark’ children’s curiosity and make learning fun;
- Can make a significant contribution to the life our school;
- Have a commitment to work with colleagues to share and develop skills and expertise;
- Have a commitment to supporting our school’s caring, Christian ethos;
- Are passionate, imaginative and reflective: and
- Are able to work as part of a team.
