We provide one to one support for children and young people with diverse SEN needs. The children who attend our provision have access to the whole site which comprises of 10 acres of pasture for grazing farm animals, shelter building site, lake for pond dipping, raft building and kayaking, moat, ancient history ‘huts’ class rooms, and their own dedicated learning base. The alternative provision base consists of a shared space for social time and cooking, two learning rooms and small sensory room.
Our alternative provision tutors write individual targets in line with students educational setting or EHCP and track progress against their targets on a weekly and termly basis, plan for students, deliver their plan, write and send daily reports, take part in meetings, reviews and feed back to management. Initial support would be provided. They would be solely responsible for one student at a time.
