Midday Supervisor at Highcliffe St Mark Primary School

Lunchtime is an important part of the school day, and having the right people supporting our children during this time is vital to ensuring a happy and positive experience.

If so, Highcliffe St Mark Primary School has a vacancy for a Midday Supervisor (Grade 1 + 1LMI – £12.65 per hour). This is a great opportunity to begin a career working with children and to make a real difference in our wonderful school community.

Hours: 11.30am – 1.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
(A job share may be considered.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up the school hall with tables, chairs, cutlery and cups
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Supervising children as they eat and play, in both the hall and the playground
• Clearing and tidying the hall after lunchtime

Keeping Children Safe in Education

Highcliffe St Mark Primary School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
