Kitchen Assistant - Bournemouth School

We are currently looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant to assist in all aspects of food and beverage preparation, cooking and serving of meals.  It will also include the operation of tills, cleaning the large dining room after service, washing-up and cleaning of equipment.  Training will be provided.

Monday-Friday, from 9.30 am to 2.15 pm

23.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum (term time only)

£12.85 per hour, Actual annual pay £13,309 per annum (pro-rata)

Paid over 12 equal monthly instalments

Shortlisted applicants will be informed by Friday 27 March.  However, due to the school closing for the Easter holidays from 30 March to 10 April, interviews will take place from week commencing 13 April.

The postholder may be required to undertake such other duties as are required and are commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post.

This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert and this will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. An adjustment may be made at the point your employment ends to reflect your holiday entitlement and to ensure that you are paid accurately for the number of days worked in any academic year.

Bournemouth School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates.
