Do you believe that a thoughtful conversation, a moment of patience, or a well‑timed word of encouragement can transform a child’s whole day? Do you want a role where curiosity, confidence and those wonderful “I finally got it!” moments are part of everyday life?
If so, Parley First School would love to meet you.
We are looking for a Class Teacher to join our caring, close‑knit and creative school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children flourish – academically, emotionally, and socially – and who wants to make learning feel exciting, safe and full of possibility.
At Parley, our teachers are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be the person who brings learning to life, builds strong relationships, and creates a classroom where every child feels seen, valued and able to shine.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring lessons where every child can experience success.
- Build warm, trusting relationships that help pupils feel confident, secure and ready to learn.
- Support children of all abilities, including those with SEND, helping them feel understood and fully included.
- Create a nurturing, stimulating classroom where curiosity is encouraged and effort is celebrated.
- Work closely with colleagues, families and support staff to give children the best possible start.
- Celebrate the laughter, creativity and joyful unpredictability that make school life so special.
Who you are:
- A Qualified Teacher (QTS)
- A kind, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who genuinely loves working with children.
- Someone patient, reflective and emotionally attuned, with an inclusive approach to every learner.
- A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Calm, flexible and resilient, with a great sense of humour and a belief that all children can thrive.
- A team player who understands that small moments of care can make the biggest difference.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or just starting your career, what matters most is your warmth, your passion and your commitment to helping children succeed.
