Contracts Monitoring Assistant  - Adults Commissioning Team  - One year fixed term contract 

About the role

  • Adult Social Care Commissioning in Dorset is a major undertaking, with over £100m spent each year to meet local needs. 
  • Joining us as a Contracts Monitoring assistant your work will aid us in ensuring the services are effective and efficient to  look after our residents. 
  • The Commissioning team engage with a wide range of partners including the Voluntary and Community sector, housing, public health and NHS Dorset Integrated Care Board.
  • We are looking for a Contract Monitoring Assistant to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. 
  •  You will need to have; great organisational skills, the ability to interpret and review data against set targets to evidence contract compliance, be methodical in your approach to work. 
  • You must enjoy a challenge

What you'll be doing

About you

  • You will have experience or knowledge of business admin and contracts  
  • Organisational skills, including working with confidence with MS Office 
  • You’ll be a self-assured communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Be able to embrace change and adopt new ways of working 
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment 
  • Embrace a broad and varied workload

Further Information

The role is desk based with some travel required to attend meetings and other service locations.  Therefore, occasional access to a vehicle, being prepared to use public transport or the willingness to travel with DC colleagues may be necessary.
