Vacancy: Teaching Assistant
30 Hours/Week; 8:35am-3:20pm
Immediate Start / As Soon as Possible
We are looking for a highly motivated teaching assistant to join us from May 2026, or as soon as possible, on a 30 hours per week contract. The contract would be for an initial fixed term until 31st August 2027 whilst pupil support needs are reviewed. The post is Monday to Friday, term time only.
The prime responsibility will be to provide class-based learning support for children in EY, KS1 or KS2. There may also be a significant element of supporting children with special educational needs. Supervising children at lunchtime is also a key requirement of the role.
Applicants from experienced teaching assistants or graduates / school leavers who are considering entering the teaching profession would be particularly welcome.
