About the role

Pimperne Primary School are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher/Teacher’s for our Year 6 class.  We will consider both Full and Part time applications - please specify your preference on your application form under the Post Applied for section.

This role involves – leading and managing a Key Stage 2 classroom with responsibility for the children therein. Bring a passion to provide high quality and adaptive teaching and achieve good learning outcomes for all children. Create a caring, safe and compassionate environment for children to thrive, Develop meaningful and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Be part of a team, ready to support and be supported, remaining open to learning in order to develop yourself and your practice.

We are seeking a professional individual who:

  • Is a natural multi-tasker with strong pedagogical and curriculum knowledge
  • Has excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Values relationships and being part of a team, creating a sense of belonging for the children in their care
  • Demonstrates the passion and ability to learn
  • Has a passion to support children and ensure they thrive emotionally, socially and academically.
  • Has the ability and interest to lead an area of the curriculum.
