Build relationships. Create opportunities. Make a real impact.
Do you enjoy connecting people, spotting opportunities, and making things happen? Are you motivated by building strong partnerships that genuinely make a difference to businesses, learners, and the wider community?
At Coastland College, we’re looking for a Business Partnerships Coordinator to play a key role in strengthening our relationships with employers and external partners across the region. This is a varied, outward‑facing role where no two days are the same – perfect for someone who is proactive, organised, and passionate about employer engagement and skills development.
About the role
As Business Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll be the bridge between the College and local employers. You’ll work closely with businesses to understand their workforce needs, promote our apprenticeships and training offer, and support them from first conversation through to successful outcomes.
You’ll manage your own portfolio of employer relationships, help generate new business opportunities, coordinate apprenticeship vacancies, and represent the College at events and networking forums. Alongside this, you’ll collaborate with curriculum, marketing, and quality teams to ensure employers receive a seamless, high‑quality experience.
What you’ll be doing
Building and maintaining positive, long‑term relationships with employers and partners
Promoting the College’s apprenticeship, adult learning, funded and commercial provision
Supporting employers with apprenticeship vacancies and recruitment activity
Attending and helping organise employer events, forums, and outreach activities
Managing opportunities and interactions through CRM systems and reporting on progress
Sharing employer insights to help shape curriculum and future provision
About you
You’ll be a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and building rapport quickly. You’re likely to have experience in employer engagement, business development, account management, recruitment, or another customer‑focused role. You’ll be organised, solutions‑focused, and comfortable juggling priorities while working towards shared goals.
Experience of apprenticeships, education, or training is a bonus – but just as important is your enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to delivering an excellent employer experience.
Why join Coastland College?
At Coastland College, our purpose is simple: to inspire students and apprentices for success beyond expectation. We’re proud of our culture and values – we are Connected, Courageous, Dynamic, Empowering, and Welcoming – and we’re committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where staff can thrive.
You’ll be joining an ambitious team that values collaboration, professional development, and making a positive impact across our community and local economy.
Closing date: 29th May 2026
Interviews: 8th June 2026
