the Role
We
are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team, committed to
delivering high-quality teaching and learning that enables every pupil to be
Great. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured
lessons within a broad and balanced curriculum, while creating a positive,
inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. Working collaboratively with
colleagues, you will respond to the individual needs of pupils, monitor
progress closely, and adapt teaching to ensure all learners achieve their full
potential. A strong commitment to upholding high standards of behaviour,
supporting pupil wellbeing, and safeguarding all children is essential to this
role.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure pupils make strong progress by providing appropriate guidance, support and advice
- Plan and deliver a broad, balanced and integrated curriculum in line with national requirements and whole-school policies, using agreed schemes of work
- Promote and maintain high standards of behaviour in accordance with the school’s Behaviour Policy
- Create and sustain a stimulating, well-organised classroom environment that celebrates and showcases pupils’ work
- Effectively organise and manage teaching and learning within the classroom
- Monitor, assess and evaluate pupils’ progress to inform future teaching and improve outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, particularly within the year group, to meet the diverse needs of all pupils through purposeful and engaging learning activities
- Contribute to the development of high-quality planning and engaging schemes of work
- Actively promote safeguarding and uphold the welfare and well-being of all pupils at all times
