About the role

Salary - £19,749 - £27,211 pro rated per annum

‘Putting Children at the Heart of Learning’

Bere Regis Primary and Pre-school is a therapeutic thinking school. Strong relationships are at the heart of our daily practice; we work closely with staff, parents and carers to ensure that the well-being of our children, and the wider school community is at the heart of everything we do.

We are exceptionally proud of our dedicated and caring staff team, our vibrant learning environment and our strong partnership with parents and carers. We are deeply committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of background or ability, achieves their very best. Equally, we are passionate about developing the talent of all staff, enabling them to flourish and succeed.

We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our key stage two teaching team. This part-time role (0.6) has become available, as one of our current teachers will take on a more senior role within the school from September. The role will be in our upper key stage 2 class and therefore we would be very happy to hear from teachers who have experience in this phase.

We are a small team, so our priority is to appoint the best possible teacher for our children, however, an ability to lead a curriculum area across the primary phase would be advantageous.

We can offer excellent working conditions, a strong, supportive team and a modern new school building in a beautiful environment. Our superb facilities were opened in 2017 and the school is located in one of the most picturesque parts of the country, with fantastic grounds.

Wessex Multi Academy Trust offers the benefits of close collaboration with colleagues across the trust, shared expertise, enhanced opportunities for pupils, and a rich professional learning offer for staff.  The Trust also offers a generous benefits package including pension scheme, a health cash plan*, bike and tech schemes*, wellbeing support and more (*subject to qualifying period).

If you are a passionate, reflective and knowledgeable class teacher with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils, we would love to hear from you.
