Heathlands Primary Academy & Pre-School is a one-form entry primary academy located in West Howe. We have around 200 pupils from Reception through to year 6. We are also fortunate to have our wonderful preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds on site, as part of our Early Years base.
At Heathlands, we believe that with effective teaching and learning and excellent partnership with parents, all children can be successful. The school is a shared site with a specialist setting and central services, therefore, excellent communication and relationships are key. The site manager is a key role in maintaining a safe and purposeful environment for the children in our care.
The school is part of the Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust which is also based on our site. The Partnership is a vibrant family of twenty schools and a central team working together around shared values and aspirations and in the spirit of close partnership.
