About the role

Join the team at Southill Primary School as our new SENCO/Inclusion Lead! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our SEN provision and make a difference in the lives of our pupils. This role is part time 0.4 and permanent, with a salary of Teacher Pay Scale + TLR (negotiable depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision.
  • Coordinate provision to support individual pupils with SEND.
  • Manage and develop the provision for pupil premium and vulnerable learners.

 Keeping Children Safe in Education

Southill Primary School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
