About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils, teachers and families to support learning, wellbeing and personal development. You will help create a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building positive and productive relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and maintaining high expectations.
- Supporting pupils' learning and development, including on a one-to-one basis where required.
- Encouraging independence, resilience and self-esteem.
- Providing feedback on pupil progress and achievements.
- Supporting positive social interaction, play and engagement with peers.
- Responding sensitively and effectively to individual pupil needs.
- Assisting with the supervision and support of pupils both inside and outside the classroom, including educational visits and lunchtime duties as required.

Salary and Hours
Actual Salary: £18,915 – £19,216 per annum (Grade 5, SCP 5–6)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)
The successful applicant will be expected to uphold the school's ethos and values and participate fully in training, meetings and professional development activities.
