The Thomas Hardye School is seeking to appoint a highly organised Examinations Manager to take the lead in ensuring the provision of a compliant and robust examination process at both Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful applicant will problem solve, follow all school policies and procedures, and manage a small team without direct supervision. They will manage and maintain the accuracy, integrity, and security of examination data throughout the examination cycle.
You will have excellent ICT skills, and be a highly competent and effective communicator. The postholder will be responsible for the collection, processing, analysis, and distribution of examination-related information, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations, school policies, and data protection legislation. This will include providing accurate examination data and reports to senior leadership, teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies as required.
The postholder will supervise and line manage other examination officers, as well as a large team of casual exam invigilators.
We require someone with:
- experience of working in a school in line with examination processes.
- attention to detail and a proven track record of accurate data entry.
- working knowledge of examination administrative requirements of external bodies.
- good understanding of data protection requirements.
- a dedication to, and thorough understanding of the processes involved in safeguarding children and young people.
- a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
We can offer:
- A friendly and supportive working environment, with supervision and training.
- The opportunity to build on existing skills and knowledge through continuous professional development.
- A generous pension scheme, employee benefits scheme, on-site nursery, and discounted local gym membership.
