Lecturer in Maths - Coastland College

The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maths lecturer on either a part time or full time basis to join our dedicated team of specialist teachers. You will be delivering GCSE Maths and functional skills to our learners. We are looking for an individual with relevant and up to date subject knowledge and experience, as well as the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons.

• Do you have an understanding of quality assurance and assessment?
• Are you able to engage a range of learners with diverse abilities? Including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? 

The ideal candidate will have a range of knowledge and experience within the FE (Further Education) sector with recent experience of teaching GCSE Maths, although we can offer opportunity to train up candidates new to teaching.

The post is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for their subject and ambition for creating opportunities for young people. 

Positions are available at both the Weymouth and Kingston Maurward campuses.

Hours: Part time (22 hours per week) or full time (37 hours per week) positions available. 

Salary: £31,363 (full time equivalent) for qualified teacher status or level 5 equivalent
