About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our friendly and professional team at Beaminster St Mary's Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Safeguarding children during the lunchtime period
  • Clearing and tidying away after lunch
  • Distributing lunches to children
  • Encouraging positive play and interaction among the children

You should:

  • Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team
  • Have effective communication skills
  • Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety and following the school's behaviour guidelines
  • Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies
  • Be committed to promoting the school's Christian ethos and values

Hours: 10 hours per week from midday to 2pm, term time only.
