About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Catering Manager to lead our lovely kitchen team. The position is available from January 2027.

It is offered on a permanent basis and is part-time, with the hours being 7am-3.15pm Mondays-Thursdays and 7am-3pm on Fridays during term time.

The Catering Manager has the day-to day responsibility for running our catering services, including the provision of breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea to both children and colleagues alike. They are also an important part of school events, making sure the refreshments look and taste wonderful.

Further Information

We are seeking to appoint a hands-on, customer focused Catering Manager who has proven experience as a school Chef or Catering Manager and can therefore deliver excellent customer service. Our new team member will have a solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practice, and possess outstanding communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. We are also looking for somone with excellent food hygiene and safety knowledge (minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate), a well-organised but flexible approach to work and an ability to use their initiative.
