An excellent teacher can make a lasting difference. We are willing to be flexible to find the right person.
St James' First School and Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and skilled class teacher to join our welcoming school community. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and early career teachers who share our commitment to helping every child grow and flourish.

We would consider:
- Part-time appointments of four days a week.
If you are excited by the opportunity but unsure whether your availability would fit, please contact us before ruling yourself out—we would be happy to explore the possibilities.
At St James', our vision of “Believe and Acheive” shapes our ambition for children and adults alike. We are looking for someone who builds warm relationships, has high expectations and brings thoughtful, engaging teaching to the classroom.
