About the role

Lead. Achieve. Make a Difference Across Dorset!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people with SEND?

Do you enjoy leading a team and taking responsibility?

Step into a role where you will guide your team and work hands-on to create great experiences for children and families. If you care about making a positive impact and have experience supporting children with SEND, this is your chance to lead.

At Artz+ Sportz+, we support children with SEND across Dorset. We offer sports, outdoor, and arts activities during school holidays and Saturday mornings. Our service gives parents and carers a break while children enjoy fun, safe, and social activities.

No two days are the same!

One day you might help children build dens and light fires in the forest. The next, you could support an arts workshop in a Museum or a sports session in a leisure centre. Every holiday brings new experiences, new challenges, and the chance to create lasting memories.

As one of four Team Leaders, you will:

  • lead and motivate a team of Casual Support Assistants
  • make sure sessions run smoothly, safely, and are fun
  • work hands-on with children and families in local venues
  • take responsibility for health and safety, risk checks, and safeguarding
  • mentor team members to manage behaviours and give great care
  • build strong links with families and providers
  • assist the Management team in achieving funding targets
If you are someone who wants to:
  • make a real impact – help children with SEND enjoy inclusive, high-quality activities
  • grow your leadership skills in a supportive team
  • flexible work during school holidays, Saturday mornings, and some Bank Holidays
  • inspire, lead and create great experiences for children and families
then we want to hear from you.
  • Full training provided, including Safeguarding, Medication, and First Aid
  • Enhanced DBS check arranged
  • Own car essential

We Value Diversity: We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences.

Ready to Take the Next Step? Apply now and help us create amazing experiences for children and families across Dorset.
