What will you be doing?
You will provide high quality, technical and financial support services to the Council. It is an essential part of the role to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely financial management information and advice is available for managers and other stakeholders to be able to make informed decisions about their services.
We are responsible for the processing and management of all council debtors, debt policies and processes and the invoicing and collection of monies owed from Social Care Service Users. This involves direct contact with service users, taking payments, sending Letters Before Action (LBAs) and working closely with the Business areas, Financial Assessments Team and Legal colleagues to resolve complex debt cases. Other tasks include the management of our customer records and the production of monthly and year end debt reporting information.
