This is an exciting opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role across the South West region, driving transformation and embedding inclusive practice. Join us to

  • Lead strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Regional SEND Programme.
  • Coordinate multi-agency initiatives and managing associated budgets.
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities, health, education providers, and parent/carer forums.
  • Provide expert advice on change management and transformation to senior leaders.
  • Representing the South West in national networks and working groups.

We’re looking for an experienced leader with:

  • Advanced theoretical knowledge in SEND (Masters level or equivalent).
  • Proven track record in improving services for children and young people with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice.
  • Experience in multi-agency working and systems leadership.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and budgets.
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and co-production with families and young people.

Further Information

Location: South West Region (significant travel required)
Contract: Full-time 1 year fixed term, we would be happy to consider a secondment
