Teaching Assistants (Level 2) at Baden-Powell & St Peter’s CE Junior School

About the role

Baden-Powell & St. Peter’s CE Junior School is seeking to appoint two Teaching Assistants (Level 2) where the successful candidates may work within a whole class, with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis.

32.5 hours, Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch) Fixed term to August 2027
25 hours, Monday to Friday (8:30am to 1:30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch) Fixed term to August 2026

We are looking for candidates who have the ability to motivate and encourage children; who are enthusiastic, responsible and enjoy working with children. They should have good inter-personal skills and a desire to support children with their learning, promote high standards of behaviour and believe that all children can succeed. The post holder must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above and an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent.
