About the role

ROLE: Learning Support Assistant with some 1:1 responsibilities
LOCATION: Bovington Academy
CONTRACT: Temporary, part time, term time only
HOURS: 30 hours per week
SALARY: Grade D, scale points 5 – 6, FTE (£25,583 - £25,989), Pro rata for part time (£17,503.64 - £17,781.43)
CLOSING DATE: midnight 21 January 2026
START DATE: ASAP

With its extensive grounds and Forest schools; Bovington Academy is a primary school within a unique catchment area, including Bovington and the British Army garrison between Allenby and Stanley Barracks. We currently have 182 children on roll in 7 classes from Reception to Year 6, with 60% - 70% of those having a parent or carer in the services. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment, in which children from all backgrounds feel included and able to take part in enriching learning experiences. Our LSAs have a wide range of skills and experience, and are expected to be able to work in any age group across the school or support SEND pupils on a 1:1 basis.

Keeping Children Safe in Education
 
Bovington Academy will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates.
