Class Teacher – KS2 at Talbot Primary School

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a dedicated Class Teacher to become part of our supportive team. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year, starting in the summer term to work in KS2.

HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 37 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 33 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.

We are seeking a professional individual who is:

a high performing trainee teacher with the potential to be an outstanding classroom practitioner, or a skilled, inspirational teacher experienced in KS2
passionate about raising and maintaining high standards
able to inspire, motivate and support pupils and achieve outstanding outcomes
be a great team player
analyse data and use it effectively to improve standards
liaise with Seniors Leaders
ensure equity of provision for all pupils in year group
uphold and embed school values and procedures
engage relational practice with all pupils
a competent and confident communicator

We are located in an urban setting and are set within extensive playing fields and grounds, including a beautiful indoor swimming pool, Forest School and a large, productive garden, which is used to grow fruit, vegetables and sensory planting.
