About the role

Teaching Assistant, Level 2 (ELSA Trained)                                                                                                                                 

Wareham St Mary Primary School

Hours: 32.5 Term time,39 working weeks 

Salary: Grade 5 SCP 4-6 (£13.05-£13.47 Per hour)

Actual Salary: £19,027.92 per annum, pro rata

Starting ASAP , Fixed term until Aug 31st 27

Wareham St Mary CE Primary School is a small, Church of England school at the heart of the community on the edge of the beautiful Jurassic coast. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (level 2 ELSA Trained) where the successful candidate may work within a whole class, with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis.

Our ideal candidate would have the ability to motivate and encourage children; be enthusiastic, responsible and would enjoy working with children. They should have good inter-personal skills and a desire to support children with their learning; promote high standards of behaviour and believe that all children can succeed. The post holder must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above and an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent.
