Kingsleigh Primary School is a community where all are welcomed valued and heard. Feeling safe and happy are at the heart of what we do to ensure we succeed as lifelong learners. We embrace individual qualities to ensure Kingsleigh is a community ‘where everyone can be great’.

We have 3 core values that underpin the behaviour ethos of our school community and are promoted throughout all areas of life at Kingsleigh and beyond: Belong Aspire Respect.

We’re looking for someone who embraces these values and for this particular role someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about supporting children with SEND needs to thrive. This is a key role that helps ensure our Inclusion provision runs smoothly and that families, staff and external agencies receive timely, high‑quality support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment, has strong communication skills and takes pride in delivering accurate, detailed administrative work.

As our Inclusion Administrator, your work will include playing a vital part in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Inclusion Team. You will be the first point of contact for many families and professionals, helping to coordinate meetings, manage SEND documentation and ensure statutory processes—such as Annual Reviews—are completed to a high standard.

Your work will directly contribute to improving outcomes for pupils with SEND and ensuring they receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to enquiries from parents, colleagues and external agencies
  • Coordinating meetings, booking rooms and ensuring relevant staff are informed
  • Supporting SEND processes, including preparing paperwork for Annual Reviews
  • Proofreading reports and maintaining accurate pupil records
  • Liaising with external agencies such as CAMHS, SALT and the local authority
  • Uploading documentation to Arbor and pupil files
  • Providing general administrative support to the Inclusion Team

We are looking for someone who brings warmth, commitment and a genuine belief in our children. You will:

  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with families and professionals
  • Manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Be confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Work well as part of a team and are able to build positive relationships
  • Shows empathy, discretion and a genuine commitment to inclusion

Experience in a school or SEND environment is helpful but not essential—we welcome applicants with strong transferable skills.

What we can offer:

  • A large, friendly and enthusiastic staff team where everyone works together and is genuinely proud of what we’ve created.
  • A forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning where risk taking is celebrated and where continuous learning is encouraged through professional development opportunities.
  • A modern, spacious, purpose-built and well-resourced learning environment.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic children who respond well to the creative curriculum we provide.
