About the Role

We’re looking for a Management Information Officer to join our Children’s Services Business Intelligence and Performance team. You’ll support services with high‑quality management information, insight and assurance.

If you enjoy turning complex data into something clear, useful and impactful, this could be the role for you.

You’ll help make sure the right information is available at the right time. This includes supporting statutory reporting, inspection readiness and assurance activity, so that services can make well‑informed decisions.

While the main focus is on SEND and inclusion, the role also supports wider Children’s Services data and reporting as priorities change. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Children’s Services, corporate teams and partners to turn complex data into clear, meaningful insight that supports planning, quality assurance and leadership oversight.

About you

You don’t need to be a data scientist.
But you do need to enjoy working with systems and information.

You’ll be someone who:

  • Is a confident system user and understands how data is captured and maintained
  • Enjoys working with data and understands its importance in public services
  • Can explain complex information clearly, accurately and in an approachable way
  • Values accuracy, governance and assurance
  • Works collaboratively and builds strong professional relationships
  • Takes pride in producing information that people trust and use

This is a full time role at 37 hours per week.
