Contract: Permanent (Salaried, 52 weeks per year)
Bincombe Valley Primary School is looking to appoint a Janitor to join our dedicated and supportive site team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Site Manager, carrying out duties effectively and efficiently in line with the needs of the school. This is a varied and practical role which will include:
- Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the school grounds, particularly outdoor areas.
- Supporting cleaning duties as required
- Being responsible for the security of the school premises in the absence of the Site Manager, acting as a key holder.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about their role
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have some DIY / handyman experience
- Have a good understanding of general health and safety*
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
*In‑house training, including Healthy and Safety, will be provided where necessary.
