About the role

Position: Physical Education Teacher

Fixed Term Contract 3rd September 2025 to 22nd July 2026

The position:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Physical Education Teacher to join our team and contribute to delivering a diverse and inclusive PE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality physical education lessons to pupils in upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 (ages 9 -13).
  • Develop engaging and inclusive lessons that support students' physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Foster a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to improve their fitness and sporting skills.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills through physical education activities.
  • Lead extracurricular activities, such as after-school sports clubs or inter-school competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Maintain a safe and well-equipped learning environment for all students.
  • Follow and promote school safeguarding policies

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
